Treva Mott is a United States Navy Veteran, who has 15 years of experience in law enforcement. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications/Journalism, she also has a Master Degree in Media and Communication with emphasis in Public Relations, which she believes is pivotal to her success. Both of her degrees are from Norfolk State University (NSU). Her career in law enforcement has refined her vision which she devotes to addressing a healthier association with the community, teachers, parents, other law enforcement agencies, and the youth on how to trust and positively interact. She believes this equally gives voice to transformation. While in the Office of Community Affairs, she has traveled inside and outside Texas, educating citizens, community leaders, and other law enforcement agencies through presentations on 21st Century Policing.
