Raul Collins is a 25 year veteran of law enforcement. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Texas Southern University (TSU). Throughout his professional journey, he has earned a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, a two-time Officer of the Year Award, a three-time Humanitarian of the Year Award, and a four-time Congressional Award winner. He contributes his key accomplishments to his experience by building trusting relationships with the communities he serves.
Collins brings to his position with CGOT an unshakable background with the public. His relationship with the youth and community exemplifies his true dedication and leadership. His role in law enforcement has been and is essential to steering the youth through education and preparation for their success. The time he set aside for research places him a step ahead which is an unquestionably optimistic approach to educating the public. His position in the Office of Community Affairs continues to offer many opportunities for Collins to expand his range of experience through his research.
