Douglas Holloway graduated from the University of Clear Lake (UHCL) in Houston, Texas, with his Bachelor in Business Management and then he completed his MBA in 2014. Douglas worked for 10 years at the University of Houston in the Division of Advancement, supporting their $1 Billion Capital Campaign initiative to advance their reach to more students and faculty through increasing the infrastructure of their medical school in addition to the renovation of UH School of Law. He also worked at the Baylor College of Medicine supporting their Division of Research.

Douglas’s experience, skill set, and leadership in information technology are helpful to promote and identify community opportunities and to support the mission of CGOT. Douglas is concerned about the global impact of organ trafficking and its impact on the medical field and in the State of Texas. Douglas hopes with his breadth of knowledge and expertise to bring greater awareness of the impact of global organ trafficking to communities and their leaders throughout South Texas.

In Douglas’s spare time, his hobbies include beekeeping and disc golf. He is also a leader and member of Toastmasters International bringing his unique wit and humor to everyone he meets. Currently, he resides in South Texas with his lovely wife and daughter.
