Anthony Doucet, Ph.D., is a highly experienced military veteran, professor, mentor, and hands-on leader known for his expertise in emergency response, law enforcement training, operational management, and teambuilding. Dr. Doucet has consistently guided individuals, teams, and organizations toward impactful outcomes, having over 28 years of unwavering leadership, counseling, training, and advising experience and a background in emergency response.
Dr. Doucet's professional journey began with his enlistment in the U.S. Army, where he served in various demanding roles as a paratrooper and in other military organizations. His dedication and resilience during his three combat deployments to Iraq were recognized with two Bronze Star Medals, numerous personal and unit awards, and the respect of all who served with him. After his military service, Dr. Doucet continued to excel, pursuing a career in federal service as a supervisory police officer. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and his Master’s in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Purdue University and his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Capella University.
As a police officer, Dr. Doucet's leadership abilities were recognized, and he was appointed as the Patrol Branch Chief for the Fort Polk Director of Emergency Services. His strategic planning skills were instrumental in designing the Fort Polk Law Enforcement Training Academy Program of Instruction, where he successfully trained and instructed hundreds of military police and security officers.
Dr. Doucet is a Criminal Justice Professor at Lone Star College, who is dedicated to helping individuals and groups overcome life's challenges by unlocking their full potential. He is passionate about sharing his hard-learned lessons while transitioning from the battlefield to civilian life. Dr. Doucet's values of humility, integrity, loyalty, personal courage, and service are evident in his commitment to others.
