Jeslyn Huynh, Ph.D. is well known for a variety of professional and research contexts such as professor, advisor, and researcher. After graduating from a law enforcement and forensics program, she continued to pursue academic interests in criminology and justice policy via publication. Acquiring a B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Dr. Huynh not only inspires and inculcates a love for society in her role as an educator, but she also demonstrates her ability to comprehend, analyze, and conceptualize data and policies for governmental agencies as a program specialist/research analyst. As a professor who teaches both criminal justice and political science courses, Dr. Huynh regularly receives high teaching evaluations and maintains the highest performance standards within a diverse range of administrative functions.

Dr. Huynh’s best-known scientific research, A Mixed Method Approach to Exploring Human Organ Trafficking and Its Policy Implications, not only sheds light on the severity of organ trafficking, but also provides the implications for social change including (1) research and educate about the global organ trade, (2) a transparent regulatory oversight system that ensures organ donors and recipients safety and enforces the prohibitions of unethical/criminal medical transplant procedures, (3) and recommendations for governmental agencies to focus on the prevention of organ trafficking, prosecution of organ traffickers, and protection for organ trafficking victims.
